bring on the winter...

today was kind of the first hint of winter training... it was overcast, windy, and sprinkled a little bit... we turned around before we got into any real rain, but yea... it was kind of cool, maybe I kind of dug it because it was in the 50's to 60's versus the 20's to 30's... that's coming soon enough, it's already there in the mornings. I need to start stalking up on cold weather gear... I keep trying to order some good craft glove liners, but they're never available. I need to find something good on the hands, that's the only thing that kills me in the cold...

Stalkers "stalk" up. If you want to increase your stock of cold weather gear, you want to "stock" up.

"SoCalCycling.com 1/2 Team is Looking for a Few Good Men
11/10/06 - The SoCalCycling.com 1/2 Team is looking to expand the team with a few additional riders for the 2007 season. The team will be accepting resumes through November 13th and riders will be selected prior to November 15th. Riders must have a USA Cycling Category 1 or 2 license, be reliable and be team players. Please send resumes with photo to frank{AT}socalcycling.com."

Here's your chance for a team that is looking to "develop" riders and help with entry fees. It says they are expanding but it really sounds like rebuilding, apparently all of the guys that you complained about in a previous blog have left. Some have gone to a to a new team that is supposed to be bigger and better and others have just gone their own way.

yea, we've already established my english aint real good...

I think it's good socal is rebuilding, they could use some guys with a bit more hunger and have the resources to offer some good support to some up and coming young riders... road racing is going to shoot through the roof this coming season... teams are popping up like crazy, this is the first year I've heard of so many teams with open spots to fill that they have a tough time filling them... it's cool to see that...
