I don't know if I'd say it's slow, but it's not super fast out of the box... the turbocharged 4 cylinder actually sounds pretty nice... with 207ft lb's of torque at 1800 rpm, you can put some power down when you need it... it also accelerates to 60 mph in 6.4 seconds and hits 15 seconds in the quarter mile...

It is cool how they make fun of the ricey cars but those GTIs are SLOW!
