It only hit the high 90s or so today, but the humidity had to be around 90%... Yesterday and today were 3hr days on the bike with some intervals thrown in today... yea, no big deal... right?
well with the humidity, you need to drink about 2 large bottles an hour here... otherwise you come back from your ride like I did today with nothing left in the tank (I think I used up the tank itself) and weighing 10 lbs less than I did when I left for the ride... to add insult to injury, I battled a pretty respectable headwind the whole way home... ah man, long day...
scoped out the hot spot sprints for the Hotter n Hell road race with our director after my ride... Looks to be a good course and am looking forward to doing an actual road race instead of laps on some 10 mile loop.

Ouch ... tough weather! I can't explain it, but the weather here has changed! 75 degrees, low humidity, and the wind has stopped completely! Maybe the Mojave Desert isn't such a bad place ... yeah right!
