well... What does mr. 200 usually do? Let me explain how palmdale is laid out... It was designed by engineers, who laid out the streets in a 1 mile grid pattern. So, you ride in a straight line then turn and ride in another straight line... all the time having a head wind... then you turn around and anticipate a killer tailwind shooting you down the road at 35-45mph, which you may have for 5 minutes or so, until the wind changes... which WILL happen... then your cranking out 245 watts at 10mph again... sounds like loads of fun eh?
Just cant make it interesting enough to write about...
We do have some cool descents with a several switchbacks in the local hills though... I would like to rig a camera up to my bike at some point... not gonna happen on this trip though...
