Your very own oxygen bar for the road...

Saw an add for this stuff a little while back... Big Ox is apparently pure oxygen in a can that can give you some of the same benefits as some stimulants minus the negative effects most have... so they claim... I dont really know enough about pure oxygen effects on the body, but logically it sounds like there could be some benefit if it increases the amount of oxygen in the blood which increases the amount of oxygen to organs and muscles... I may talk to a few people about that before I come to a solid conclusion... In the mean time, here is a review from socalcycling...

I remember seeing an Oxygen Bar on the Strip in Las Vegas when I was at Interbike a few years ago. People were hooked up to a machine that let them breath in pure flavored Oxygen. Big Ox has made it easy to enjoy the benefits of Oxygen without going to an Oxygen Bar with a convenient canister that can be inhaled directly whenever you’d like.

Some of the benefits of Oxygen include an increase in energy and alertness, headache and migraine relief and increase in oxygen levels in the bloodstream so you can work harder, and perform better in your workouts and sport of choice.

I put Big Ox to the test in several different areas including: on the bike, migraine and headache relief, and as a midday energizer. On the bike after taking the recommended 10 breaths, I noticed being more alert and aware of my surroundings and being able to push harder in my workout. In my day to day work, I sometimes need a boost in the afternoon to get me going. Sometimes I’ll have an energy drink, but I don’t like the side effects of feeling jittery from too much caffeine or the “crash” that happens when it wears off. Big Ox offers a natural way to get a little energy lift, without all of the bad side effects of an energy drink. As someone who suffers from migraines, I was excited to try Big Ox to see if it would offer relief. As soon as I felt a migraine coming on I took 5 breaths of the Big OX and the migraine went away within 5 minutes. This was a welcome relief! It also worked great for getting rid of regular headaches and a slight hangover during a Palm Springs vacation, where I corrupted my mom with a few margaritas.
