well...

The whole team situation in the states isn't looking too good for me... I keep hearing budgets are too small and cutbacks are needing to be made... Maybe this is true... maybe my results just aren't good enough... whatever it may be, I'm back in the states and seemingly taking a step backwards again getting stuck in a situation where I'll get stuck doing a bunch of local races. I have a couple possible irons I can throw in the fire to get back to Europe to race again next summer. That may be what needs to happen from the looks of things... This kind of stuff gets me down, but then I think about how many people get so close to greatness and stop just short of it... I don't want to be one of those... I want to know I gave it everything I have and did everything I was capable of doing before I throw in the towel.
