Epic...

Yesterday we had a road race just outside St. Brieuc. It was mainly rolling hills with a few harder hills... I was feeling alright and doing okay until we hit this short steep climb... I ended up cramping up about half way up and couldn't jump on a wheel... so, yea... I ended up off the back again, no good... I'm thinking I'll just ride back to the finish and get a little more time on the bike... well, the plan was all good... but I couldn't remember what town it finished in... I tried following the signs for the race, but they would just dissapear and then reappear... the signs ended up being useless... I added about 2 1/2 hrs to my ride just trying all the different roads these signs could be pointing to... by the way, I had been out of water since before I dropped from the race... everything is closed on Sundays, so it was tough to find a place to get water... I finally found a bar that was open in St. Brieuc and asked for directions... they said it was just a short ride away and gave me the directions... I didn't bother asking for water, thinking "I should be good, I'm almost there." It turns out, that wasn't it... I just decided to ride the 60k back to Pontivy, that seemed like my only option... I started heading out that way and was past the point of feeling bad, I was just numb... I had already bonked twice and was just running on fumes... I ended up getting picked up by my D.S. about 20k outside of Pontivy... the team car was such a welcome sight... all said and done I had 6 hours on the bike that day...

Hello, my name is ludovic le beller, riders in the team Véloce Club pontivyen. You remember jason.
Excuse me for my language level. The race of l'étoile quintinaise is a big moment. I remember of the waiting in a truck and the big question :Where's Jason?
