It's a hot one...

It's about 11:30 P.M. and it's extremely hot and humid... It's been like that for the past several days and nights making it tough to get some good sleep... If you haven't figured it out, we don't have any A.C. and we can't leave the windows open otherwise we end up eaten alive by mosquitos... here's a little fun fact: mosquitos can smell their prey from up to 40 miles away... calcium deposits on the skin as well as lactic acid can trigger their scent glands... it seems like a no win situation... The best time to get any sleep is in the early morning when it's the coolest, but for the past two mornings I've woken up to the sound of jack hammers on the other side of my wall... I think they finished today, I'll find out tomorrow... we have a nocturne tomorrow night, I need to try to get some good sleep for that... with that said, I'm gonna head off to bed...
