My schedule today...

So... let me pull out my blackberry and see what was on my schedule for today...



ok... here you go...



7:30-wake up

7:45-cruise into the kitchen and grab some coffee and breakfast

8:00-sit and chat with Els for a bit

8:30-Check emails

9:00-massage

10:00-pre-ride meal (muesli & bannana yummmm)

11:00-saddle up for 4hrs of what Mr.200 does best (shoot!, I don't even need the power meter to tell me I'm doing 200 watts)

12:00-make a coffee stop in Brugge (one of the oldest still standing and functional cities in the world... amazing place!, I think I will frequent there for coffee)

3:30-get back, pound a recovery drink, and do some stretching

4:00-eat post ride meal (snow peas, chicken, and some left over tortellinis)

4:30-Shower

5:00-set the table for dinner

5:15-6:00- chill out and watch the Tour de Swiss

6:00-Eat dinner (burritos! oh yea)

6:20-Wash dishes (my night for kitchen duty)... and there are lots of dishes when your cooking for a load of cyclists...

7:00-Realize I need to do something about my blog so it's not so boring...

7:30-stil thinking about what I'm gonna do to make my blog more exciting...

8:00-the future is unwritten



Now I am going to leave you all so I can chat with my girlfriend on skype...

200 watts for 4 hours!?

Sounds like the old challenge ... drink a shot glass of beer each minute for 60 minutes ... how hard can it be right?

Hour 1 @ 200 watts ... yawn
Hour 2 @ 200 watts ... this sucks
Hour 3 @ 200 watts ... I hate my bike
Hour 4 @ 200 watts ... could not tell you what that's like ... but I'm sure it's not pleasant!

My fun fact for the day:

Thomas Clemson (founder of Clemson University) was once the ambassador to Belgium ... and friend to King Leopold I

Dude, that's so awesome . . . I'm glad to see you made it over there! Brugge was one of my favorited cities that I visited in Europe. Aw, live it up, kid!
