Got into a little trouble today...

While driving one of these bad boys...

Anyone care to take a guess at how long it took for me to get one of these?

Hint: The max speed limit in this town is 45mph...
Yea... I got a ticket for speeding... I'm pretty sure I wasn't going as fast as claimed (53mph), but with the incredible handling of the car and an offset speedometer, I had a tough time keeping track of the speed. For a quick run around the block, I sure got flagged down pretty quick... Hopefully, they'll let me do traffic school in place of paying the fine and having the ticket on my record... Ouch! Bonehead move of the day!
With that said... awesome car! Tiptronic shifting with paddle shifting, sport mode, and handles like a dream... to top it off, it gets around 30mpg! I want one for sure... gotta finish school first...

Whose mini was it? That had to be fun to drive. I think the TX cops have a 6th sense for busting out of state drivers. I got a hefty ticket last spring. I saw a Ford GT on my ride today. Pretty rare to see a car like that in this town. And I'm stuck driving the Previa...

It was a friend of Tiffs...

Yea, it was a bit awkward... Somehwere in the conversation, the cop asked what my relation was to the other people in the car (Tiff and her friend)... Tiff mentioned she was my girlfriend, then the cop asks whether or not we live together... maybe there was some reason for the question, but it seemed a bit too much like it was judgement (based on christian values) that was going to decide whether or not I got a ticket... Not that I have anything against christain values, but to mix that with a state law doesn't seem right... It didn't matter anyway, I got a ticket even though the answer was no... May have had something to do with my California Drivers license...

...imagine being judged....

yes, imagine... I implore you to... as we are all guilty and victims of it at some point... Yet life goes on doesn't it? I mention it because it was an odd experience... do I really care what the cop walked away thinking of me? Heck No! There are only 2 people in this world who's judgement means anything to me and they've both known me from day 1... as for anyone else, naw... don't really care...

I ask you this though, are you implying that I can only imagine what it's like to be judged? If so, is that not judging? If there is some other meaning feel free to enlighten me... please...
