The Detour of America... and a few punches at the Tilford God...

Friday's Foaming Rant... I dug this, it embellishes on some of the problems with cycling in the states... From a generally uninterested media, race sponsor issues, and the list can go on... but I got a kick out of the Tilford thing, I raced with him in St. Louis this year... I guess I angered the Tilford God in one of the races when I wouldn't allow him to guide me into a curb so his truly could move up a few spots... I spent the rest of the weekend hiding in the peleton like small prey hiding from it's hunter with the occasional surprise chop in the corners to remind me of my lowly position in the pecking order... It's all good, I know my place...
