I have yet to get a paper on my VO2 test results yet, but I know some of the stuff off the top of my head... It was really pretty average which is to be expected given some of the obstacles that kept me off the bike for a good portion of this season.
VO2 Max- 69 (it was 59 back in 2004 when I was tested at the olympic training center)
Percent of VO2 Max I blew up at- 89%
Watts at Threshold- 325-350 watts
Heart Rate at Threshold- 175
Body Fat- 8.5% (lean mass 150lbs, fat mass 13.9lbs)

Can you elaborate on the V02 numbers ... is higher better ... or is lower better?
Wow! You're like a genetic super freak!
That's impressive.

A higher VO2 is better, but not everything... a real good VO2 would be around the mid 70's... The number represents the max amount of oxygen (I beleive in milliliters) that you can take in at maximial effort. One factor that contribute to raising your VO2 would be weight loss...
weight loss doesn't increase your VO2...that´s BS. it will get you a better W/kg ratio - which is a good thing, though.
Since VO2 max is expressed in terms of body weight, a decrease in weight that is the result of fat loss can result in a significant increase in VO2 max. However, an accompanying loss of any of the muscles used can counteract this increase.
Although, based on what I have read, the best way to increase VO2 max is short intervals at or above 70% of VO2 max...
