Construction sucks...

It never seizes to amaze me how a seemingly good road can be turned into what looks like a decreped old fire road once construction starts in the immediate area... Between lame attempts to patch potholes (which I think are better left as holes due to overuse of tar and the mound of tar that results) not to mention all the tar turds left all over the road... then there is the ever increasing cloud of dirt that is slowly engulfing the entire antelope valley... when you get far enough away from town, you can't actually see any buildings... the city is marked by this brown cloud of sludge, it's just nasty...
